CALGARY June 21, 2005 — The Canada West Foundation today released Gambling in Canada 2005: Statistics and Context which, by using statistics for the 2003-04 fiscal year and historical trend analysis, gives a numerical context to gambling policy issues.

Gambling in Canada 2005 is the Canada West Foundation's third significant effort to introduce an understanding of gambling issues and their effects on our society.

Gambling in Canada 2005 was written by Senior Policy Analyst Jason Azmier, who has written numerous reports on gambling.
